New Computer Installation Checklist

1.    Name computer, Organization use, add Admin as domain user, add user and password (same as computer name)

2.    Turn off all Windows Customize Settings!

3.    Turn off UAC

4.    Run Windows update

5.    Run Dell (or other manufacturer) updates

6.    Modify taskbar

7.    Modify File Explorer settings

8.    Verify restore point settings

9.    Modify screen saver and energy saving settings

10.                  Disable Cortana

11.                  Add Google Chrome, set as default browser

12.                  Add Firefox

13.                  Add Libre Office

14.                  Add Java

15.                  Add https://renegade.ligolab.com:5001/ligolab/RENEGADE_LigoLab.jnlp

16.                  Add https://testdirectly.com/testdirectly/TDLab_PROD.jnlp

17.                  Registry entries to kill Edge browser and OneDrive

18.                  Check security settings (anti-virus, firewall etc.)

19.                  Add TeamViewer

20.                  Add Ccleaner?

21.                  Add entry to IT Inventory spreadsheet
